January 1, 2019 at 11:53 in reply to: Bulk Delete Posts by Content – Delete posts from a specific post type #17673
Hello Kenan,
I know it’s been a while but thought of letting you know that we just released v1.0.0 of Bulk Delete Posts by Content add-on that adds the ability to pick up the post type from which posts should be deleted.
-
Hello Ahmed,
Apologies for the issue that you are facing.
When we delete an attachment the corresponding file in the disk also needs to be deleted. So deleting attachments is relatively slower that deleting posts or users. The speed at which attachment can be deleted depends entirely on the specification of the server in which your WordPress site is hosted.
Can you give me an opportunity to find out what’s happening? Share me access to your WordPress install. Let me have a look and if I am not able to fix it then I will give you a full refund.

Hello Nancy,
Did you get the above message after the posts got deleted or during deletion?
If it is happening after the deletion, then it may not be associated with the Bulk Delete plugin.
Are you able to view the ‘All Posts’ page now or is it consistently giving the error for you?
You can check the PHP error log in your server to see what is the reason why PHP is giving that error. Once you post the error here I can give you instructions to fix it, even if it is not caused by our plugin.

Hello Steve,
I would require some sample data from your sheet for me to give you a quote.
Please send me some sample data from the sheet and how the matching should be done for the posts via email to support@bulkwp.com and I will give you my quote.

Hello Steve,
Right now it is not possible to do what you want.
But if you want we can create do this as a custom development work for you.
-
Hello Aaron,
Yes it is possible.
While configuring the deletion, you can choose the option “equal to” and then in the value you can choose the next “no title” (if it is present in your db) or just an empty string.
Also to automatically delete the posts based on a schedule (instead of manually clicking a button), you would need the “Scheduler for Deleting Posts by Title” add-on as well.

Hello Scott,
Please let me know which order numbers you want to upgrade and I will help you to upgrade them.
-
Hello Mayo,
Can you please give me a copy of your system info?
You can get it from Bulk WP -> System Info
-
Hello Scott,
Yes, that’s definitely possible.
Please let me know your order numbers and I can tell you exactly how much you have to pay more to upgrade these licenses.
-
Regarding your second question, the add-on that you have bought will continue to work.
But to get updates and support you would need to renew the license every year. For license renewals we give 30% discount.
-
Hello Igor,
Very happy to know that the add-ons are helpful to you and have reduced manual work.
Here are the answers to your questions.
You can create any number of jobs for the same type. Each job will be independent of each other and will continue to work.
Right now it is not possible to edit a job that was already created. We are working on this feature. You can track the progress at https://github.com/sudar/bulk-delete/issues/33
However it is possible to delete a scheduled job. To delete a job, just hover over it and then click the ‘delete’ link.
-
Hello,
I can give you the following discount.
– More than 3 add-ons – 25% discount
– More than 6 add-ons – 50% discount
– More than 10 add-ons – 60% discountPlease let me know the list of add-ons and the license type (single site, 2-5 sites or Unlimited sites) that you want to buy and I can give you the discount codes.

Glad to know that I was able to answer your question.
If you want to delete all attachments (pictures, videos etc) that are no longer associated with a post, then you can use our Bulk Delete Attachments add-on to delete them.

Hello,
I am not sure if I fully understand your question.
I am assuming that you are asking me whether the attachments of a post will be deleted when a post is deleted. Is that correct?
The answer to that question is no. We don’t delete the attachments (pictures and videos) of a post. But we will delete the comments, meta data and revisions of the post.
If you still have a question, you can also post a screenshot instead of text if you find it difficult to write in English.
