Hello Nate,
I just released v0.8 of the addon that adds the ability to choose the post type from which posts can be deleted.
You will be able to update to this version directly from your WordPress admin itself.
Kindly update the base Bulk Delete plugin to v5.5 before updating the addon.
Let me know if you still face any issues regarding it.

Hello Nate,
I found the reason why it was not working for you. You are trying to delete posts from “Event” post type not from default “posts”.
Deleting from custom post types is not currently supported by the addon.
If you give me a day or two, then I can add the ability to delete posts from custom post types by title to the addon and release it.

Hello Danton,
Would it be possible for you to upgrade your WordPress installation to the latest version?
It is behind by a huge number of releases and could be vulnerable as well.
-
Hello Nate,
Please let us know the following details so that we can help you fix the issue.
- By which module are you trying to delete posts? I am assuming that you are using “Bulk Delete Posts by Title” module, since that is the addon that you bought. So let us know if that is the case.
- What are the options that you selected in that page. If possible also send a screenshot before you clicked the “Bulk Delete” button.
- Your system info. You can get it from Bulk WP -> System Info page.

Hello Britney,
Sorry to know that you have issues with the license key.
I just checked and it seems your license key is still in “inactive” state and was not activated at all. Did you received any error message when you tried to activate the license, by entering the license key in the plugin?
If possible please give it one more try and if you are still facing the same issue, then please send us a screenshot and we will process a full refund.
Also the addon can work without the license. The license is needed only for auto-updates and support.

Okay, so you need to delete it based on two custom fields.
If there are two posts with the same value for the custom field “extid” and one of them has no value for “imgid”, I want to delete it.
Right now the custom fields addon only supports on custom field and it can’t be used for this.
I guess the only option at this point is to create a custom addon specifically for you to solve this. Unfortunately we don’t have an already built addon that can do this for you.

Hello Danton,
You are using a really old version of Bulk Delete. v4.2.2 was released around 20 months ago and there have been 14 releases after that. https://wordpress.org/plugins/bulk-delete/changelog/
Update to the latest version of Bulk Delete plugin from https://wordpress.org/plugins/bulk-delete/ and it will work.

Hello Klaus,
You can use the Bulk Delete Posts by Custom Field addon to do that.
In the addon settings just choose the custom field name and enter an empty string in the “value” field. This will allow you to delete all posts that have an empty value for that custom field.

Hello Klaus,
Thanks for contacting us.
Do you want to delete all posts that don’t have any attachments or do you want to delete all posts that have broken attachments?
Let us know the answer to the above question and I will let you know whether it is something that can be done by our plugin or not.

Hello Thierry,
Provide your Order number and we will prepare and send the invoice to the email address mentioned in that order.

Hello Nicorel,
So every month i want to delete all posts from one month (oldest) by FIFO style (first in first out) include its attachements.
If you manually want to delete the posts, then it is possible to do it using the free plugin itself. Just use either “Delete Posts by Post Status” module or “Delete Posts by Category” module and choose all posts and the date and it will delete them for you.
If you want to schedule the automatic deletion, then you need to buy one of the following two schedulers and schedule the deletion to run every month.
This will delete the posts and leave the attachments as unattached.
After that you can buy the Bulk Delete Attachments addon that allows you to delete all the unattached attachments.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
PS: If you decide to buy 3 or more addons, then I can give you 10% discount on the order.

Hello Nicos,
I wanna delete All posts include attachements older than specific months (12 months for example). Is that possible?
Apart from the date is there any other criteria that you need to delete the posts based on? Eg: Based on category, tag, custom post type etc?
Also do you want to delete them manually or do you want to automatically delete them using a scheduler?
Once I have the answer for it, I can tell you which addon you need to buy to get this feature.

Hello Michael,
Not a problem at all. I just split the topic so that it is easier to handle.
You can check your wp-config.php file to see if SAVE_QUERIES is enabled or not.
Also if you installed debug plugins like “Debug Bar” or “Query Monitor” then SAVE_QUERIES will be enabled.
