Hi,
We are using the pro plugin for Deleting Posts by Custom post type.
I have tried deleting published posts where older than 60 days, but we ended up deleting some posts which were in October 2015 (today being 19th October 2015).
I wondered if there was anything that I should know in relation to when we use this field in the filters? ie Whch date is this based on etc?
Many thanks

Hello Cam,
Usually the date on which the post was published would be used for this.
But if that post type was created by another plugin, then they may try to override the db query which might affect this filter.
Please let me know the post type from which you want to delete the posts and also the name of the plugin that creates these posts.
Also attach the System info for your installation. You can get it from Bulk WP -> System Info.

Hello Cam,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this.
Are you still facing this issue? I just checked the logic that handles the deletion based on post created date and it seems to be working properly.
Let me know if you are still facing this issue.

Hi Sudar,
I have finally had another go at this, on a dev version of the site.
There were 3291 published jobs and using the options from the attached, it has deleted (to the trash) all jobs.
This doesn’t seem correct, as there were jobs which were published within the past 24 hours, but these have been deleted as well.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hello Cam,
I just checked deleting posts from a custom post type and they were moved to trash properly.
Can you please tell me which plugin are you using to create the posts from this ‘job’ custom post type?

Hello Cam,
I checked your website and it looks like you are using a really old version of WordPress.
You are using a version that was released more than 4 years ago and there have been at least 10 major versions released after that.
Since it is a very old version of WordPress, I am pretty sure most plugins will not work properly on it.
Is there any specific reason why you have not updated your WordPress installation?

Yeah it is way behind.
Apart from functionality issues, you are also going to be facing security issues.
There were lot of security fixes that happened after that release.
