I have purchased the Delete Post by Custom Field plugin for the purpose of deleting old tribe_events automatically once the event date has passed. However, when I set it to delete posts that are older than 2 days, for example, it deletes ALL posts, even those of events that are weeks in the future. It appears that it deletes posts based on when they were created. Please let me know if this plugin can handle this operation or perhaps let me know how to make it work so that it does what I need it to.

I figured out how to delete tribe_events by adding _EventEndDate as the Key. However, I would like to be able to have events that are two days old (for example) be automatically deleted (according to event date and not the date that it was posted). Will the scheduler add-on accomplish this?

Hello Claretha,
As you figured out the event date is stored in a meta key. So what you are doing by selecting _EventEndDate is correct.
However right now you have to give an explicit date in the value field.
We are however working on a feature that would make it possible to set expressions like ‘2 days ago’. But right now it is still work in progress.
